About the Author

Monique Semp began her career as a software engineer writing PL/M and C code, and the programs’ accompanying user manuals. Her later projects reflected evolving technology and trends including OO programming and usability design and analysis.

During the dot.com mayhem, Monique moved to the San Francisco Bay Area. She increasingly focused on technical writing, ultimately becoming an official API Writer writing developer documentation for Java–based wireless applications. Looking for greater project variety, Monique began her own company, Write Quick, Inc. She provides an array of services for her clients--technical writing, indexing, grant writing, and more.
