There are always volunteer opportunities within our SIG. Each position
only takes a couple of hours a month, if that. Please let

know if you have questions about any posted position, or if you
can say, "Yes, I'd love to!"
- Events coordinators
- Our coordinator, Karen Duran, is always looking for events our members would find interesting.
If you have a great source for events our members would find interesting, get involved and let her know!

- Newsletter article writers (and idea people)
- This is an ongoing
opportunity. Our editors produce an excellent newsletter; they're
always looking for ideas for articles, Q&As, and so on.
- Module writers
- We are currently brainstorming an interesting approach to providing
content: procedural modules. Essentially, these modules will be short,
education units with specific goals toward solving common
problems or answering certain questions about indexing. We're looking
for writers and suggestions. If you can envision yourself writing
a small and self-contained unit on some aspect of indexing, let us know.
