The Illustrators and Visual Designers SIG assists technical communicators involved in the production of illustrations, video, multimedia, and other visual forms of technical communication.

It provides opportunities to network, practice skills, and learn new tools.

Discussion List Now on Mailman

Like most other STC discussion lists, our SIG discussion list was established on Listserv many years ago. That platform became unstable and needed to be replaced. We have now migrated the discussion list to Mailman, as have all other STC lists.

SIG Survey

The survey of our SIG membership has been completed and the results are being analyzed. From the survey, we hope to get a much better picture about who our SIG members are and also some insights to guide the direction of this SIG's future.

Attend the Annual Conference in Atlanta, May 2009

The 56th STC Annual Conference will be held in Atlanta, May 3-6, 2009. 

Conference details will be found on the STC Website when they are finalized. The I-SIG's Atlanta Guide will be posted on the STC Annex.

Plans for the Coming Year

An increase in activity for the SIG is planned for this coming year. Volunteers are very welcome and appreciated.
