Line up speakers for SIG business meeting.

Notify Society office if your SIG will participate in the display table at the annual conference.

Ensure newsletter is on schedule for release in time for annual conference.

Attend SIG managers' committee meeting on Sunday.

Host SIG business meeting; attend SIG lunch; conduct SIG progression.

Preliminary budget is due after annual conference.

Submit reimbursement requests; fiscal year ends June 30.

Directives article deadline on 15th

SIG Manager report due to Society office

Contact people from conference who volunteered for SIG jobs.

Contact stem manager with suggestions for next conference’s stems, threads, and sessions.

July

Leadership Meeting (first Tuesday)

Directives publishes on 15th

Newsletter Competition guidelines available

Begin recruiting presenters from the SIG for the next annual conference.

Check SIG Web page to ensure information is current.

August Leadership Meeting (first Tuesday)

Begin to plan for any regional conferences.

Send SIG update to Society office in advance of board meeting.

September

Leadership Meeting (first Tuesday)

Directives article deadline on 15th

Public Relations Competition guidelines available

In the coming months, submit an article on SIG activities to Intercom. Also encourage SIG members to submit articles in their names and as SIG members to Intercom.
