The STC Management Special Interest Group (SIG) is a subset of STC members who are interested in learning more about managing technical communication projects and processes. Our goal is to help our members develop their professional communication and management skills while sharing information between STC International and Management SIG members.

Each year, Intercom runs several themed issues focusing on areas of interest to technical communicators. In 2006, the June issue of Intercom will be devoted to Management. Anyone interested in writing an article, or in suggesting one they'd like to read, should contact the Intercom editors at intercom@stc.org. The deadline for submitting an article is January 21, 2006. We're excited about the upcoming Management issue; with your help, we expect it to be a valuable resource for anyone interested in this area of the profession.

Management SIG Elections

As the Society transforms communities, the Management Special Interest Group (SIG) is formalizing our procedures and taking on more responsibility for the management and finances of our SIG.
