(3) Convert Your Content Using JelpPublisher

After developing your help content and installing Jelp, you will need to use the JelpPublisher component to convert your .hpj file into a booklet. To run the JelpPublisher, which is shown in Figure 2, you will need to enter java JelpPublisher at the DOS command prompt.

After you specify the .hpj file to convert and then click Compile, Jelp displays the results of the conversion process. Jelp creates a booklet directory (with the same name as your .hpj file), and places a serialized file (.ser) for each of the topics in your help system in this directory. If you've selected the generate ZIP check box, Jelp creates a zip file consisting of all your topics, which is located in this same directory.
