Think globally...

As you can see in this issue, the SIG is growing strong! We now have a thriving international membership, and I am glad that so many of them chose to share their experiences with us this issue. At last count, we had members in Italy, South Africa, Korea, India, Australia, New Zealand, Scotland, Greece, Israel, Portugal, Germany, France, England, Belgium, Slovenia, The Netherlands, Denmark, Austria, China, Sweden, Switzerland, Finland, Japan, Ireland, Singapore, the US, Canada, and Brunei. That's great! I'd like to see some Central and South American members too!

Going forward, we hope to continue to feature articles about technical communication around the world. If you are interested in sharing your experiences, please send me an e-mail at scott@userfirst.net.

Over 20 chapters have a local Online SIG. Local SIGs are your chance to discuss online communication issues with other technical communications. If your chapter doesn't have an Online SIG and you want to start one -- or if you are having trouble generating meeting ideas -- let me know. I would really like to help. And for all you chapter-level Online SIG leaders -- Thanks for all of your hard work!
