| Where's Bill? |
Anyone connected with Hyperviews:Online knows that we made out onto the 'Net because of a lot of enthusiasm. Bill Bledsoe, our editor, generates enthusiasm the way the rest of us breathe.... without thinking and without stopping. Bill is the reason Hyperviews:Online has grown through its first year and become a respectable juncture in the World Wide Web we weave. After we published the Winter issue of Hyperviews:Online, Bill suffered some medical setbacks. He is now applying his energy and enthusiasm to getting better. We miss him and if he doesn't come back to at least write some articles for us.... well.... I'll think of a threat later. Thanks, Bill, for the power of your enthusiasm!!! |

| Enthusiasm at the STC Conference |
At the STC Conference in Cincinnati, the Hyperviews:Online staff got to see each other after a year (or two) of only e-mail and occasional phone calls. Hyperviews:Online was the subject of a lot of positive feedback at the conference. We got some great ideas from conference attendees and we're looking forward to trying them out. If you didn't get to the conference, but have ideas and enthusiasm to share, please let us know. Remember, this is the newsletter for the entire Online Information SIG. We don't intend our content to be web-specific. We welcome articles and columns on any facet of technical communication in online information. |
