| Going forward in 1999 | The
new year always brings us new ideas, new things to try, and renewed energy,
all of which are definitely true at Hyperviews:Online.
We've had a tremendous reception in 1998, with over 4000 views of Hyperviews:Online and countless e-mail thanking us for providing practical and usable information. That's a tradition we'll continue in 1999. Going forward in 1999, we have plans for four issues at least, and more if we continue to get as much quality content as we're getting. The schedule is roughly:
These dates are subject to a little wavering, as our stellar "all volunteer" team sometimes has "obstacles" that we have to overcome. 1998's list included broken hands, family emergencies, job changes, and so forth. |

| We want your input!!! | Did you know that a majority of our articles come from readers just like you who either had a good idea, or recently worked through a problem they wanted to share? We feel strongly that Hyperviews:Online works best when we have a lot of varied input in terms of articles. This means we need to hear from you. If you have an article idea or an article you've done on the local level, please contact us to see if Hyperviews:Online is interested. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised! | |
| See you in Cincinnati? |
Not to toot our own horn too loudly, but if you're going to be in Cincinnati for the 1999 STC International Conference, make time to attend our session on how we put together Hyperviews:Online. You'll hear the lessons we've learned about:

| Some words of thanks... |
Finally, I wanted to say a few words of thanks for the many contributions to Hyperviews:Online in 1998. A special thanks goes out to fellow staff members Karen Mobley (assistant editor) for her tireless work on our new design and to Scott DeLoach for getting us going in the right direction as well as doggedly pursuing volunteers for articles and other assistance. My thanks also goes out to our 1998 columnists. They have provided a solid foundation to build feature articles upon. And certainly, last but not least, our loyal readers. Without you, we'd just be another piece of infodust on the Web. Thank you for your continued readership and we really look forward to serving you even better in 1999!! |
