Message from the SIG Manager

Members of the Online SIG of STC develop and share knowledge on all aspects of electronic publishing, distribution, and exchange of information.

The Online SIG Web Team is currently developing dynamic web services for all of STC. The first service is the STC Forum, http://stcforum.org. STC members, please visit and register if you haven't yet. If you are a member and experience difficulty registering, please click the link in the Announcement area at the top.

The Online SIG also has a collaborative website, Hyperviews Online, bringing back our newsletter and replacing this site for future information. Members, please visit http://stc-on.org/online, register, and leave comments. Soon members will be invited to volunteer to contribute to the site.

The SIG has a members-only email list and participates in networking events at the STC Annual Conference. Our rechartering report and plan is posted on this site (pdf file).

How to join the Online SIG

Membership in the Online Special Interest Group (Online SIG) is open to STC members only. To see the chapters and SIGs you belong to, log in on the STC site and on the page that opens, click the link for your profile (also at STC Members > Member Services > My STC Profile). To join the SIG, download the membership change form (pdf). Complete the form and return it to STC. Please provide an email address that you check often, because communication with members is by email.
