About our membership
Our membership consists of more than 1100 (5%) members from within the Society for Technical Communication. We hail from more than 15 countries and continue to grow. Our members are employed, self-employed, and students with different levels of experience and mostly in the technical communication profession. We represent more than 20 industries (such as finance, banking, insurance, software, hardware, education, manufacturing, agriculture, healthcare, utilities, and government). We are involved with policies and procedures for countless subjects and functions in organizations (such as accounting, marketing, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, human resources, instructional design, information technology, and safety).
Why Join the P&P SIG?
STC members join our group for these reasons:

- To affiliate with a group that aligns with and supports common interests in policies and procedures related to their career.
