March 20, 2008 : The Exchange, newsletter of the Scientific Communication Special Interest Group (SciComSIG), is published four times per year. When new issues are available, members are notified by an e-mail containing a link to the appropriate page. If you are not receiving these notifications, please contact STC and request that your e-mail address be updated. SIG members who cannot easily access this page or who prefer to receive a printed copy of the newsletter should contact the SIG manager (follow the Contact Us link at the top of this page, or click here).

December 2006: This month a new issue of The Exchange is published online. Geoff has put together another great read! Included in this issue: The CSI effect on writing instruction; Putting the passion back in science; three excellent book reviews; and more.... We continue our call for member participation -- encouraging the sharing and development of SIG resources. Thank you to all who submitted articles for this issue--your contributions are greatly appreciated and will be recognized (see below).

Contact the Newsletter Editor for additional instructions on how to properly submit articles and information to The Exchange: Geoff Hart, at ghart@videotron.ca.

Recognition and incentives for contributions within our group.

The SciComSIG recognizes any contributor of information to this web site, as well as any involvement in efforts to create the resources of our group (unless one specifically asks not to be recognized). Periodically, recognition may also involve an award of some sort--the exact details of which are being worked out. A list of article contributors to the Exchange is available below.
