Development notes:Please read when creating a new page News articles have a header with the background color #CCCC99 (pale sage green) behind the Heading 1. Since this is what most pages for the site will be, I have made it the default header background color. "Management" pages about the SS SIG, the List Serve, the policies of the SIG for the website, etc. have a header background of #FFCC00 (golden yellow). "reference" pages about links to useful sites, glossary, etc., as they are developed, should have the header background color #FF9933 (orange). Heading 1 text is used as the link text for building the site pages. Make the Heading 1 text meaningful. For articles, please make sure that you include the topic class on this Heading 1 tag, i.e.
Heading 1 template styles
, which is how the deafult headline for this News article page is tagged. Also please use the class tag "byline" for the author, i.e.
By T.H.E. Author
and the class "createdate" for when the article was written, i.e.
May 2, 2002
. |
