UUX Website Rewrite Update
The Website Rewrite Team has been working on the results of the
survey about how people use the STC website. You can view a summary
of the results here: https://docs.google.com/Doc?docid=0AUhTYORaH-ynZGM4cndweHZfOGM3ZmNqcmZ3&hl=en&authkey=CKSpr4oL
After reviewing the results, Kristi Leach realized that we needed
a little more detailed information to really nail down the roles
that were developed from the first survey.

Thanks for your help. Your participation will help us to design
a website that works for everyone!
The New Issue of Usability Interface
Usability Interface - April 2010
Technical Communication Summit in Dallas
Our community will be a part of three networking events at this year's Technical
Communication Summit in Dallas (May 3-5). All are on Monday, and we'll hope to see you
there if at all possible:
- Monday at breakfast (7:30 am), the SIG networking breakfast will include tables for
the UUX SIG
- Our business meeting will be Monday 12-1:30 pm, and will be a BYOF
(bring-your-own-food) event. The hotel has several good choices for carry-out. Grab
your sandwich and come contribute to the future of your SIG.
- The community reception will take place Monday after sessions end. We'll be
sharing a table with the Information Design and Architecture SIG. Stop by and say
hello even if you haven't been able to join us at the other events.
- Thanks to herculean effort and incredibly effective networking by track leader
Caroline Jarrett, there are two impressive tracks with emphasis on Usability:
- Usability and Accessibility
- Usability Institute
- New Twitter to watch: @STCUUX -- please tweet items of interest to #UUX
We hope to see you at the conference! Stop by and say hello or follow us on Twitter.
So you can see what's going on at the conference whether you're in Dallas or not!
