It is time to get ready for the big event of the year, "The STC 2011 Summit". We would encourage all UUX members to try and make it to the Summit. There are many useful and interesting sessions that you can attend. Refer http://www.softconference.com/stc/slist.asp?C=3859 for more information.

In addition to the other categories, the following presentations are covered in the "Usability and Accessibility" category:

And this year there will be four presentations in the "User Experience Institute":

If you're coming to the Summit, please let us know. In addition to our sessions, above, don't miss:

  • Our business meeting will be held jointly with the AccessAbility SIG on Monday 11:30-12:30 in Room 317/318.
  • The Communities Reception on Monday night at the Sheraton. Please stop by and lend a hand with some fun usability activities -- look for more information soon.
  • The Body of Knowledge project will have an early view available in the "STC Central" area of the Exhibit Hall. Stop by and lend a hand with some usability observations there, or try it out yourself and fill in a questionnaire.
  • We hope to hold an informal SIG event on Tuesday evening. Again, let us know you'll be there and we'll be sure you get the information.
